Torre Colimena an der apulischen Küste – und heute, am 2. Juni, ist Nationalfeiertag in Italien. Das Land geht im Meer baden. Es herrscht hier dichter Stau auf der Küstenstraße, so dicht, dass wir selbst mit unseren Fahrrädern feststecken. - Die Strände sind übervoll.
Dafür war die Tour heute leicht. Es war flach und wir hatten Rückenwind.
Torre Colimena on the Apulian coast – and today, June 2nd, is a national holiday in Italy. The whole country is going for a swim in the sea. There's heavy traffic on the coastal road here, so heavy that we're stuck with our bikes too. – The beaches are absolutely packed.
But at least the ride today was easy. It was flat and we had a tailwind.
