Olivenhaine Olive groves
Unser Weg nach Modungo für uns durch die endlosen Olivenhaine der Murgia in Apulien. Die Nebenwege gehen kilometerweit, meist gut asphaltiert, manchmal Schotterpisten, fast keine Autos. Und wir erleben hautnah, woher das Olivenöl kommt, das Italien exportiert.
Nur Komoot enttäuscht heute wieder, als wir auf Wege geschickt werden, die es nicht gibt. Am Ende kommen wir aber gut an auf dem Gelände einer Kooperative, dort finden wir einen guten Platz für zwei Nächte.
Our route to Modungo took us through the endless olive groves of the Murgia in Apulia. The side roads stretch for kilometers, mostly well-paved, sometimes gravel tracks, hardly any cars. And we experience firsthand where the olive oil comes from that Italy exports.
Only Komoot disappoints us again today, when we're sent down roads that don't exist. But in the end we arrive just fine at the grounds of a cooperative, where we find a good spot for two nights.
